I have facilitated and delivered creative workshops in schools, youth clubs and venues across London and around Chiang Mai.
Here is a selection of some of my favourite projects:
Tudor Voyage - the Boat's gotta Float!
Using science to figure out what floats, maths to measure, work out space and volume. This 6 week long Tudor Voyage Project was initiated by Eastside Educational Trust. Developed by Linda Skoglund in collaboration with artists Hayley Potter and Jonathan.
Week one we learned about science. We looked at different materials such as wood, card, metal to see what could be good for building our ships. We started with experimenting with the materials to see how well it could float and how strong it was. We learned about shapes and the density of water versus air and we understood why steel boats can float.
Our project was lead by our Captains and Crews - everyone collaborated in designing, researching, decorating and presenting.
Have Fun with Drawing & Painting - One of my absolute favourite projects, an abundance of creativity, talents and skills which we show cased at an exhibition for the families and friends
Creative Origami - I have taught numerous Origami workshops. This summer school project had us collaborating on really large Origamis and all students also made a collection of very tiny ones.
